Key Benefits

Powerful Air Purifier: Ranked among NASA’s top air-filtering plants, it actively neutralizes indoor toxins such as benzene, formaldehyde, trichloroethylene, and carbon monoxide.
Natural Humidifier: Releases moisture into the air, helping reduce indoor dry air issues during winter or in air-conditioned rooms.
Low-Light Tolerant: Thrives in spaces with limited natural light where many other indoor plants fail.
Stress Reliever & Aesthetic Enhancer: The calming dark green foliage and crisp white flowers bring a soothing, peaceful vibe to any interior design setting.
Communicates Its Water Needs: When thirsty, the leaves gently droop down, giving you a clear visual indicator that it needs watering, then bounce back within hours after being watered.

Care Tips

To keep your Peace Lily healthy, lush, and blooming, follow these simple care guidelines:

Light: Place in bright, indirect light for maximum blooms. It can tolerate low light or shaded spots, though blooming may decrease. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.
Watering: Water when the top 1 to 2 inches of soil feel dry to the touch. Keep the soil evenly moist but never waterlogged. Always use a pot with proper drainage holes.
Soil: Use a well-draining, nutrient-rich potting mix containing peat moss, coco peat, and perlite.
Temperature & Humidity: Prefers temperatures between 18°C and 27°C (65°F to 80°F). Thrives in moderate to high humidity; mist the leaves occasionally or keep it near a humidifier.
Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced, water-soluble liquid fertilizer once a month during the spring and summer growing seasons.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. Why are the leaf tips turning brown?

Brown tips are usually caused by dry air, underwatering, or chemicals (like chlorine or fluoride) present in tap water. Try using filtered or standing tap water and misting the plant regularly.

2. Is the Peace Lily safe for pets?

Peace Lilies contain insoluble calcium oxalates, which can cause mild to moderate irritation if ingested by cats or dogs. Keep the plant placed safely out of reach of pets.

3. How often does a Peace Lily bloom?

With bright, indirect light and proper care, a healthy Peace Lily typically blooms in spring and can flower again in late summer or autumn. Individual blooms last for several weeks.

4. Why is my Peace Lily drooping?

Drooping leaves are a classic signal that your plant is thirsty. Give it a thorough watering, allow excess water to drain out, and it will perk right back up within a few hours!
